roygbiv.guide is the first-of-its-kind (I think?) Value4Value multi-author blog based on BOLT12 Prisms.

At the same time, I was working with a meetup friend from the Rocket City Bitcoiners. We tried to create a multi-author blog using BTCPay Server, but got stuck. I wasn't satisfied with the payment and accounting flow, and the BTCPay Server Prism implementation only supported LNURL. I try to avoid unnecessary dependencies (e.g., web server). When things can be done natively in Lightning Network–I'll try to use that instead. And I figured might as well build on the latest Lightning Network payment protocol BOLT12.

To address these challenges, we set out to devise a solution which we call BOLT12 Prisms. roygbiv.guide is the result of that effort.

The ghost website roygbiv.guide is a Sovereign Stack-hosted website. The roygbiv.guide/demo uses a submodule of Sovereign Stack called LNPlay which I developed in 2023.

LNPlay deploys Clams Remote as the primary user interface that connects to the data plane. And since Remote added direct links, we can provide end-users a single link (which can be printed out as a QR code) that directs them to Clams Remote controlling their dedicated node.
